Not smearing there name at all. In fact I think they make an awesome product hence the choice to go with them over anyone else. After extensive research, reading reviews and forums I chose SSO. If I have anyone to slam it's probably the dealership.

I get what you're saying. Everything's cool. People just like to get pitchforks out here.
I highly suggest calling SSO tomorrow. Not email. Call. Get a timeline on how long it would take for your bumper. And a price.

Then call the dealer right after, and compare with the price and timeline they give you. Then let us know which one you go with because I have a feeling you'll be going directly with SSO haha.

Good luck OP. They're some bad ass bumpers. Keep us in the loop !

They are either crazy busy or in need of welders or both.

Not sarcasm. Figured I'd lead with that because tone can be lost over the internet. Have you talked to them?

No, but I worked 15 years in a production-line weld shop. I wasn't criticizing them, too much work is not a bad thing.

For sure. That's why I lead with the tone comment. Didn't want it to come off wrong.

Same here. Steam and energy pipe, large fab, and now aerospace.

They're actively working towards same week shipping and have streamlined their process. I'm guessing 8-10 weeks time, but you have to have an actual order in for that timeline. I'd ditch the dealer asap

    My man.

Boy was it a trip for me going from steam pipe heavy wall to .125x.028" . How bad ass is Motorsports? Seems like another area that you have to find the right door to get into it full time.

SSO is located near Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

They are a small shop that is expanding rapidly. Last I saw they recently hired some more help and still looking for more.

Fairly certain they just relocated as well.

Company moved into my home-town or I would never have ended up under a hood. It's cool to see people riding something you've built from assorted tube/castings.

On Topic: I'm planning to buy an SSO bumper when the time comes.

Please contact us tomorrow during business hours to sort this out. I tried to do a preliminary search on any orders matching your information but could not identify yours. If it was placed when your dealership said, it would still be tracking for the 8 week mark currently.
