I was at bass pro the other day looking to pick up my first bow for my second season of deer hunting. I was looking at the red kroniks when the guy, who could tell by my hair cut ask if I was military. He tells me about this awesome deal they have for military, who are "currently" deployed. I called them up and she sent me the order form through email. Out the door for my first bow was $410. I got the bear strike ready to hunt, with all trophy ride gear. It a pretty good deal and the guys and bass pro said I would like it alot better than the kronik so I trust them.

I bow hunted for years with a Bear "Whitetail Hunter" bow. A quality simple compound bow that never failed me. My brother got to personally meet Fred Bear years ago when he used to live in Michigan.

    congrats on the new bow!
I have always shot and hunted with bear bows, they are a great deal and always perform flawlessly. no, they wont shoot 330 fps but neither did the bear 35lb recurve bow that my dad hunted with when I was growing up. I cant even begin to estimate the number of deer he killed with that bow.
    good luck with it man!
