Try calling metlife insurance. I have full coverage and a $100 deductible on my taco for $54 a month. More coverage than the regular amount too. I am 35yrs old though

That's ideally what you want, those are full plated bumpers that actually do provide protection.

It’s an ARB bull Bar. And these are designed to throw small to medium sized game away from your vehicle in an impact, and are also designed with crush cans for any sort of vehicle crash.

I wouldn't even call it a bull bar. That's a full metal plated winch bumper.

Satoshi, debadged, rear view mirror bracket, tail gate hose clamps, trimmed mud flaps.
I don’t off-road, so take it for what it’s worth...

I dig solid steel plate bumpers front and back, but they could be considered as a damage multiplier since the steel bumper will not absorb the inertia of impact with another car in traffic. That would cause the energy to transfer to the frame, bending it, and posssibly totaling the truck.

Brush guards are just for that. Brushing the little branches always from your from bumper area. However in a car accident they will cause more damage. I’m sure they will offer some protection in the parking lot. Get a tube or plate bumper if you want good protection. With steel armor around my truck I’m worried of the person that hits me.

With my insurance (AAA) I would want my vehicle to be totaled. They have been taking care of me and my family well for over a decade.

For me if I get into a accident I rather not have the car fixed. Because it will never be the same anymore no matter how good the shop is. That also kills resale value if it was reported to a vehicle history report company like Carfax.

ARB Bumpers are designed with crush cans, retaining some of the original crash absorption safety feature.

Actually the rounded edge on top makes more sense. "sheds water". The flat surface would trap or hold water.

Not that it makes any difference on a piece of rubber.
