Tacoma - OVTUNE - VFTUNER - Update Info and Original Development

I've been waiting to see what 1.05 will be like before. I order. Wish I knew someone that I could go for a ride along with

 

So I got a warning today as part of of my provinces "Driver Improvement Program"
Step 1: warning
Step 2: possible prohibition
Step 3: prohibition

Now I'm not saying it's cause I got OVtune, but it definitely didn't help

Actually they were mostly BS tickets. Two were definitely deserved though.

Using a phone while driving and getting ticketed for it... I wish they’d issue more!!

 

Yeah it was like two years ago at a red light. Right when they started putting rules in place. I'm better now. Having Bluetooth in the Tacoma helps immensely.

Lol yeah. One I got because I was trying to find a speed in which the truck would actually hold an overdrive gear without losing speed(legit ticket)
One I passed a car and was cresting a hill still at speed but slowing down.
One I was legit speeding on New year's Eve. Which was hilarious cause the cop was more mad that I wasn't also drunk(she was looking to give out a DUI)
One I was previously doing the speed limit but was unfamiliar with the area and the speed dropped and I didn't see the sign.

None of them was I doing more than 18~ mph over.

We should start a support group for all the people who got tickets after being tuned.

 

I'm up in Alaska so I doubt I'll be going for a ride along any time soon with a ovtuned Tacoma

Logger is making the CANbus work overtime! 50hz+ log sampling. 30mb can data in a 10 min drive. Beautiful

 

I *should* be driving up next spring, and depending on what folks say about 1.05 I'll probably have it. If so, you're welcome to go for a ride. I have family in Soldotna, and I've always wanted to check out Homer.

 

No idea what any of that means, but it sounds exciting!
