Just got my 2018 Taco SR5 and have a camping trip in a couple weeks and was looking into getting a power inverter. Any suggestions? Good or Bad idea?

What are you trying to run? Makes a big difference if you want to run a blender and xmas lights or a fridge...

Good Point. Nothing too big. Maybe blower for air mattress and a temporary lighting.

Bad on options, your truck doesnt have a bed outlet? 400w should do those things. Just not like heaters and coolers as those take a lot. A lot of air pumps plug into 12v outlet, for your needs I wouldn't go buy anything too serious

For that stuff you could probably get a inverter that plugs into your cigarette lighter

Just an FYI, my bed socket runs my 65gt ARB Freezer/Fridge just fine.

I have the same ARB fridge, but I find that the bed socket will turn off after a certain amount of time so I'm always having to look at the power button to see if it's still lit. Do you have the same problem?
