I agree with the dislike of gaudy but in person the Pro sticks out a bunch, has me waiting for a company to make a recessed grill which would be more understated. Definitely dislike how much the pro grille protrudes and how large the TOYOTA branding is. It's like its trying to be understated and gaudy at the same time.

Couldn't trade out my stock SR5 grille for the Pro any faster than i did plus I went the ebay way and only paid $95 for it cant tell the difference from OEM. The stock one looked cheap IMO not to mention the chrome frame around the grille made 0 sense to me, either make it all chrome or all plastic..chrome stuck out like a sore thumb

    Fresh gas.
The dealership in my area rips the stock grille off all their trucks and sends 'em out the door with a pro grille.
I got mine from another dealer, so I still have my OR grille and it's pretty unique in my area, since its the only one around!

If I do decide to replace it, it'll be with a C4 Fab one. Thats a lot of money to blow on something you dont spend a whole lot of time lookin' at though.

My truck was marked up to $49k and change for an "off road package" which consisted of 20 inch chrome wheels, nitto mud tires, a spacer lift, chrome running boards, and a T-rex grill. Dealers do some weird shit.

I have a 16 OR which might have the ugliest stock grill known to mankind LOL. First mod was a Pro grill.

    Nope.

I think there are so many out there, it might as well be any other grill. There is nothing special about it AFAIC

Replaced stock radio with a Pioneer AVH series head unit. Focal component system w/a 10" sub powered by 2 Alpine amps. Weathertech floor mats. Line-X'd the bed. SCS Ray 10’s, Installed an A.R.E. IMO, I think all the 3rd gen grills are ugly. If you look at the front of the Hilux it’s way more aesthetically pleasing. Every now and again I bounce the idea around of buying new, I’d go with a 4Runner.

looks like the Ridgeline to me. But same samm, looks horrible. It's an SUV front end, not a truck.

The Hilux in that pictute is making the Ridgeline look better, but looks aren't everything.

If the Ridgeline wasn't a transverse engine vehicle and had a 6' bed option....nah, still too prissified.

I dunno man, IMO the front of the 4runner as a whole is junk. Looks like a carp. And if we got the Hilux look here, people would instantly clamor for the tougher looking Tacoma.

Hilux makes the ridgeline look better. That's saying something.
