Sully looks really young in those videos; crazy what bands are and are not still around from just 20 years ago... if on the off chance I get out to a show, I deliberately buy the balcony seats and just relax with the music. Except Metallica last year, that was a bucket list show.

Wife got her flu shot yesterday.... was already complaining of a "tickle" beforehand.....

She is currently laid up on the couch. Not feeling well at all. I know that isnt the fault of the shot..

But, 3 germ magnets... I mean kids running around....

    Morning all!

The LED's in my F150 would let the headlights ice over, but only in very specific conditions. Only happened 6-7 times over two winters, but it was definitely annoying having to pull over every 35-40 minutes to knock the ice off my headlights so I could see where I was going.

LEDs definitely have issues with icing, especially when they're stand alone. I didn't experience icing when I switched my F150 headlights to LED but it was a small housing and I kept the 2 marker lights as halogens. I'm switching the Super Duty to LED this weekend and keeping the marker light as halogen as well. That thing also produces a LOT of heat off the engine so I'm hoping they don't ice up. I hear about people who do snow removal with loaders, backhoes, etc who have just an LED light mounted to the machine that they ice up like crazy. They just don't produce enough heat to melt the ice off but still produce enough to melt the snow just enough so it will freeze around the light.

My company subaru does this really bad too. It blows if thats the trend we are going in for performance i hope they design some small heat option for the super cold regions

I've also had it happen on the GMC. It's got LED projectors and are the best headlights I've ever had in a vehicle. The advantages outweigh the disadvantages in my opinion.
    Love it!

I'm surprised more manufacturers haven't put heating elements in their LED headlights, honestly. Boss is doing it for their plows now that they've gone to LED lights for those. Works well, too. A buddy of mine has a Boss and the lights on that thing are crazy.

My thing is it's the Fogs. And I'd rather not do an Amber filter. Would rather it be the LEDs. So not sure if I want to roll the dice or not. The rigids toss heat so I dunno. Would rather KCs but we will see

yes, I've seen metallica many times..Gillette was great. We got there really early with general admission floor and I was able to be 3rd from the rail at the start and then a pit broke out and everybody scattered...I went right through it and said thank you very much and got right to the rail...

I think the best was when they toured for Cunning Stunts in '97? And they had the fake stage accident where there were explosions and the guys falling from the lighting rigs...
And of course Creeping Death at woodstock 99 with 300,000 people screaming die in unison to creeping death...I was maybe 50 deep from the stage (I could have thrown a baseball on stage) for this...surrounded by more than a quarter of a million people as metallica played in the rain that finally broke the heat of the day. They were supposed to be off stage by like 11pm but did 3 encores and paid like $1,000 a minute for every minute over curfew...

This moment here is probably the single greatest concert moment of my life....Look at all the hands...The ENTIRE crowd was chanting...

I'm with you all the way on this one.

The yellow/amber is MUCH better on wet roads(IMHO), and in the crappy snowy/icy/wintry nastiness..... provides a little contrast.

BUT, it defeats the purpose of they ice over easily.

To be fair, I've had sealed lights ice over in the right(wrong?) Conditions... probably shouldn't have been on the road, but, sometimes you gotta

Same here. Though I'm not anal about stains on my driveway either. It's already covered in oil stains + spray paint from painting sliders, bumpers and other misc stuff. I never understood people's not wanting to get oil and such on their driveway. Doesn't hurt it. Asphalt is made up of oil byproducts anyways.
