they love her lol. I'm just like woah slow it down, I know I'm 27 but we need to see how this goes for a while first.

 

I would say that’s crazy, but I know first hand that the “when you know, you know” statement is 100% true. Definitely take your time, but you will “know” quicker than you think you ever would if she is “the one”. Just don’t give into the age push and it seems that you are not.

I was engaged to my wife 9 months after we met, so I probably starttthinking about it somewhere around 5-7 months in. Absolutely the best decision I have ever made.

They are correct sir! I vividly remember having a conversation with my best friend after a pick up game of basketball at the park about why I hadn’t ask my wife out yet the week after high school. I said cause if I do I’ll marry her. I did ask her out the next week. Fast forward and we been married for 18 years and that’s after dating almost 5.

 

This is just asinine! You mean you don't stay with someone you don't plan to marry NOW! I'm sure you never planned to marry any random hookups during your single years

every girl I have dated, yes. I said I don't STAY with a girl I don't plan to marry. Both longer term relationships I've had before this one were ended by them, well mutual decision, but caused by them.

 

Yeah don't let them rush you. If you're feeling behind the game now, you'd feel really behind when you're divorcing at 32 because you rushed into marriage!

I played some Bon Jovi, Van Halen, and Ratt. Also slipped a little Pantera in there.....

My wife rewrote the lyrics to “you give Love a bad name” for what they were doing in school and sang it while I played, which was pretty fun.

Yeah, I work for the school's TV & Radio departments, my office it at BDS.

 

I was just assigned 4 projects to personally handle. Huge step in responsibility for me. Thankful for the opportunity and nervous as heck about it...
