Lemon laws are there to protect people from real problems, not minor annoyances.

Thats tough to hear your new Tacoma has issues. Mine was built in Baja, Mexico and everything is fine after 1500miles. TSB 0062-18 took care of any questions I've had. To me, sounds like you hit something or was bent in shipping. Go back to the dealer for sure.

You need to read the actual Lemon Law before calling your truck a Lemon.

If I had a nickel for these types of threads, I could finance the build of at least 5 trucks...

Your vehicle rattles on rough roads? Cry me a fucking river.

Try driving a Ram 2500 and then talk to me about rattling.

The whistle might be the holes on the bottom of the A-arm whistling though, take a peek and see if the plugs are in.

This guy. Four threads that could be condensed into once since they all say the same thing. Either it's trolling or you've read too many horror stories and you are convinced you have a lemon.

The truck hasn't even broken in yet, the complaint about performance is a bit premature. Honestly you should be avoiding pushing it right now anyway. From what I understand the transmission learning takes <1000 miles to complete. My truck did began to feel a bit better around 1500 miles. Dash noise is a lost cause, some vehicles have it, some don't. You'll never succeed at a lemon claim for dash noise. The clicking in the wheel well could be lots of things, including a rock in your tire, we'd need to know more about that to help.

My last Tacoma was essentially a lemon. 2017 MT 4x4 Sport. Front diff D.S. bearing failed at 1.5k, pass. door opened on its own going over bumps in cold weather, CSPS failed and shut off while driving on the highway. It was replaced and the truck shut off again another time. Rear end leaked, vibrated while braking, more that I cant remember. Basically it spent quite a bit of time in the shop, by the time the rear end leaked it had 10k miles on it and I was done. I began to pressure the dealer with the lemon claim and they were kind enough to buy it back for the price I paid for it.

Now I have a 2018 with 9k miles on it and no real problems. There is occasional clicking in the tires, the trans makes a rattle occasionally when off roading, the performance is ok with moments of underwhelming.

Give it time, at least a few thousand. Starting off like you are is a sure way to never enjoy the truck.

I bought a TRD off-road 2 months ago and I've been noticing rattling noises and clicks and stuff too. Turns out it was due change rattling, the shaker ball in my water bottle rattling, rocks wedged in the tire treads or some other silly thing that has nothing to do with the truck itself. Try ruling those things out before going to the dealership...

Guys, he isn’t trolling. He is a man who has come apart at the seams. Yes, it may be silly. Be he needs our help. Another persons pain may seem trivial, but to them, it is still pain. This man is facing a tragedy inside that none of us have ever felt.
