3" wider per side. 3 1/4" axle tube, and the diff is beefier, bigger back of the diff housing also.

I genuinely had no idea 40 spline axels were this big until I opened the box to look at them

Lol wait till you see what the "jumbo" spline axles look like...that can fits on the inside of the axle lol.

40 spline 300m....plus side those wont ever break just like 35spline since there isn't near enough horsepower...and it's a floater setup.

And 40 spline you can only run a spool....soo street drivin ur doin tire squeals everywhere

Yeah I’ve seen the jumbo’s, well... at least a broken one.

Yeah I picked 40 spline for the eventual motor swap
And yes I am doing spool for now. I’ll invest more later to get a different locker design... once the spool breaks

Lol spools dont break...the ring and pinion does....pretty sure u have to change to a 10" to even get a locker for 40 spline

What u want to put in there? LS?

You know he is building a Trophy truck right?
Well hes paying to have one built if im remember right. He is probably one of the Arizonan guys cat-fishing us. As we just found out that there has been a group that got the perma bann hammer. Or maybe hes legit. Yet to see any proof of this build yet.

Well the camburg housing will hold a 9” or a 10” per their specs. So no issues with that aspect
But yeah I had planned on getting the truck functional again and then when the money is free later on I’d get a locker.

And yes I would like to do an LSX

Might be a good idea to do a full cage and front half with an lsx. Just go all out and centermount and 4 link ;)

One of the mods said the AZ guys got reduced to temp bans - not sure if that was for everyone or just some. I think the heat gets to them out there - hard to keep your cool when it's still in the 80's at night in late September
Even 14 miles from the ocean I'm too hot to fall back asleep lol :bananadead:

The heat doesn’t get to us. It’s all the midget strippers, hookers, and blow @snowtank introduced us to.

Sounds like a good option to consider. And they came with a rear locker option too? It seems like it'd match my front end kit better. What's the going rate on a tundra rear, anyone?

i think so but mine has a limited slip i think, and it matches the normal 3.5 kit perfect. $200 is what they should be, ive seen people ask up to 600 which is retarded.

8.4 so no factory locker - arb, tjm, harrop, eaton, etc make some. LSD as mentioned was a factory option I believe.

Just watch the LT classifieds thread on here. If they pop up anywhere on the interwebs Anthony will post a link up there.
