They fit very well, no wrinkles and were fairly easy to put on. They are also compatible with the airbags. The front ones required some creative handwork because of some metal bar under the passenger side, but that was only a five minute hang uo

I got it filled, already. Thx. Found out the paintball stores only do the small canisters and they don’t have “pumps” only a tank that equalizes into the customers tank. Pretty lame

Sorry to hear that, my local Paintball store does them. This guy on the vid does the same. Shown at 5:04 of the video. I’d say try calling a different shop.

Yeah, that’s what I’ve heard... different shops have different methods. The Fire Extinguisher store is about 30mins from my house, not too bad. Thx again!

I was suited up in a Tyvex suit spraying fluid film all over the frame of the truck yesterday. It wasn't as messy or smelly as I thought. I hope that I applied it thickly enough. I ended up using about 1/2 a quart.

Please tell me that they lifted your truck from the center of the rear differential, instead of each individual axle shaft...

Looks like an axle tube lift. And not even under the leaf spring plates.

Went in for 35,000 mile service. Was notified about the blower motor recall and I asked about the gear hunting TSB. Had both taken care of with no hesitation. To soon to tell if I notice a difference in the shifting. I will update when I do.

Edit: To update, the TSB did help with gear hunting, shifts much better, however cruise control is still useless. So far I do like the shifting better.

Care to explain if the jack or lift has the correct pad so it will not slip off the axle tube?

This just isn't true. There are lots of "gimmicks" or "tactics" dealers use that the average buyer has almost zero real world experience with. A lot of that comes from two very important things: the trade-in and finance.

The trade-in. As someone who loves craigslist, I can tell you most people have absolutely no idea how to buy and sell things. People have no idea about most things which leads to the hilarious craigslist tropes: "Over 20K in mods INVESTED" "A working car is worth 20K and my car only needs a 5K part so you should pay me 15K for my broken car" "I paid for all this maintenance recently so you should pay me the car's value + the maintenance I just put in". My point is, people are ignorant when it comes to the valuation of their things. Dealers value used shit all the time. They definitely have the upper hand in negotiation. They will absolutely low-ball your trade in. HARD. When I bought my Tacoma they low-balled my Subaru by over 6K what they ended up giving me for it.

Financing. A car is pretty much the only thing a person finances in their life without the help of someone else. When you buy a house you have an agent to help guide you. Dealers will ABSOLUTELY take advantage here. Selling services a person may never use or at inflated prices and confusing people with (Admittedly actually pretty simple) math. The big one is focusing on the monthly payment while ignoring things like loan time and overall cost. Now is this stuff impossible to understand? Hell no. But the average buyer really doesn't have a very good grasp on it and dealers will take advantage where they can.

So is that bad? Kinda. We all understand that the overall goal in business is to make money. And as long as the business is providing value for the money they're taking in, most people are happy to pay it. But here's the thing, no other retail business people commonly use is as adversarial as a car dealership. With few exceptions, you can not walk into a dealership with foreknowledge of what car you want and the price you are paying like you would at any other business. It is always a negotiation with an entity that has more experience and more knowledge than you do without your best interest at heart. And frankly, they absolutely will take advantage and wreck you if you walk in there and just say "yes" to everything. If you say "That's just business" I don't want to do business with you, I mean, unless you can give me a deal.

Did my 10k service yesterday. Oil change, tire rotation, ect.
While there I asked about the blower motor recall. They happened to have one in stock so they did that as well. Not crazy about their service dept. desk people, kind of uppity, techs seem ok. They give me the impression that unless you work for their dealership then you're an idiot and you don't know squat about Tacoma's. The parts guy is a whole different story. Nice guy, knowledgeable, regular car guy. He spent over an hour with me answering questions, looking up parts, ect. Told me Toyota now has an OEM extension hose for the air conditioner drain mod. I told him that Toyota was way behind the curve and turned him on to the TW site. Now he seems hooked and couldn't get away from it. Seemed amazed by the scope and depth of the site and some of the mods being done.
Hope I don't get the poor guy in trouble. :D

As a guy that has a wife, daughter and a perspective son-in-law in the dealership industry, one in Harley Davidson the others Toyota, I agree with @dynamicweight.

One very KEY fact, he did not mention, to keep in mind is that the person you are dealing with not only has more knowledge of the numbers involved they also have a huge incentive to separate as much of your money from you as possible. This is not to say they know any of the features of the car or truck you are looking at, as far as they are concerned these are just more things to help get you interested in buying.

This is NOT Walmart or Amazon, the person (people actually) you are dealing with get paid more (commissions) by getting you to spend more. This is true for your salesman, BDC (internet) sales, appraiser of your trade, sales manager, finance office, and in some cases parts and/or service. Every one of these individuals that you deal with, even if you did not see the person they may be involved, is getting a cut of what you spend.

If your "deal" falls below a certain level of profit they will get a "mini" (minimum). This line typically is a sharp drop off, so they will definitely work to keep you above that line, that of course you do NOT know.
