Thinking about a lift for a 2010 but was wondering how much it changes the ride?

Ride quality depends on the type of lift components you buy.

Spacers will be harsher than a coilover system.

I must respectfully disagree. I have a 2014 TRD OR. I loved the way it rode stock, just wanted it to sit a little higher. I put a spacer lift on it and it still rides the same as far as my butt can tell. I wouldn't go over 2" though which is a 1" spacer in the front and 2" in the back.
    I do off-road a little too.

He’s comparing a spacer will be harsh compared to a coilover setup..... not stock to spacer.

But as said before it depends on what lift you go with. They all feel a little different and some like setups more than others while some hate them. If you have friends with lifts, ask for a ride!

    Good luck
