I have both their headlights and taillights. Headlights been installed 4 months and taillights around a year. Look and function identical to Toyota Tacoma Pro factory lights. Just add quality brand LED headlight bulbs and you are done.

Needed something a little retro from my '92 SR5 V6. I like the look, but guessing the decals won't last long on the textured mud flaps.

You have any more photos of your truck with the 2" spacer or maybe with the 1" rear block as well? I'm having the same kit installed with 265s next week and would love to see more.

Just getting it set up. Paired my phone, took some stickers off, yarded all the manuals inside so I can RTFM.

Looking at threads on removing the visor stickers and think I'll go ahead and give that a shot with heat gun & alcohol & beer (for me). Can't stand all that yellow nanny stuff.

I did see some great alternative stickers but think I'll pass on those :D

because i have no money to buy things for my truck- i get bored. So out came my pinstriping enamel, which has been sitting dormant for a while now, and I started painting stuff lol
the stock tow loop in the front got a nice coat of red One-Shot enamel. Thought it looked cool.

Installed "Tacoma" tailgate decals. These are from "Eye Catcher" off of Amazon. Amazing quality but slightly more expensive. Unlike some of the decals out there, these are actually made of thicker+solid material.

Instructions were very clear. The entire "Tacoma" word is designed to applied together with the clear plastic holding it together. However, I still cut out each letter individually for installation.

    IMG_1898.jpg

You can see the clear plastic after you removed the paper backing.

I was tempted to drive around like this for a while but chickened out...

    TC_Mic,
You make some good points. Unfortunately, a lot of salesman look at that deal as a mini and try to bump up the sale price above that. I sold cars for quite a few years. I realized early in my sales career that a mini isn't always a mini. Sometime that $100 commission put me at the bonus number i needed (usually the 10th car for the month). That mini helped me get my bonus count which opened me up to a 30% commission on $10k in dealer profit that i wasn't getting paid on before that car. I would get paid on dealer money retroactive to the first car of the month. That mini would then turn in to about another $3k in commission for me.

A lot of times, that mini would turn in to about 3-5 referrals. Now i have 3-5 more car deals to earn money on. And those would turn in to more referrals. I would take the time to explain and educate the buyers on most of my deals (some folks were just jerks so I wouldn't be so willing to help them). Luckily, i was in a position where i could grab the invoice and show the customer. I'd show them invoice cost and MSRP. I'd then ask them what they thought a fair profit on a $40k truck was. It usually worked out for me.

I found what worked best for me was just being honest with folks. There were many times that i would tell them "I'm making $3k profit on this vehicle because that's what the majority people are willing to pay on this particular model." Most people would still try to negotiate and usually i would give a little because both sides need to feel like they won.

Every time someone would ask me what my best deal on a vehicle was i would respond with "That depends. Are you looking for the best deal for you or for me? Because the best deal for me would be selling this truck to you for a million dollars. That would be a hell of a commission for me." Unfortunately, i never found the guy wanting the best deal for me. But I would always follow up that response with this: "I'll tell you what the best deal is on this truck. It is that point where i can get the most money out of your pocket and you still be happy with it and me." This set the expectation that i was looking to make some money on the sale but always let them know i was willing to deal with them and come to a fair price.

Sometimes i made a nice commission and sometimes i made a mini. But 90% of the time, i made a repeat customer that felt comfortable sending me family and friends to buy a car from me. But not all salesmen shared my philosophy. They were looking for the quick buck and not the longevity that i was working towards.

Well put. I am a Used Car Manager and I approve this statement.

We could use more sales associates with this mentality.
