I don’t even play many video games nowadays. I love the Portal series, and some newer Bethesda games. Definitely picking up Fallout 76.

Ive realised this week that college kid jobs suck. No time to do anything except homework. At least I get Sunday afternoon off . Ive been spoiled the last two semesters with a higher paying job that gave me weekends off. But if I wanna graduate anytime in the next 5 years, I gotta take more classes and work a normal college student job. Guess the truck will go on the backburner other than "routine" maintenance. The list of "routine" stuff is kinda long tho...

 

I’m an advocate for Recreational Marijuana, but don’t do it as a High School Student. Focus on school man.

I’m not going to say I didn’t do what you did I’m high school because that would be a lie, just remember it’s illegal there in Texas and you need to be mindful of that.

 

God I’m actually a dad. I’m yelling at @Jamesboy2233 to get off my lawn, and all I talk to are other dads.

 

Agreed about the not doing it part. The only reason I got my job was because they gutted the store of people who couldnt pass a drug test. I was one of the few new applicants who willingly took and passed. Thats a dark road to go down, and its never easy to get away from it. Ive never been drunk, high or dependant on Nicotine. Most of the people who wouldve made fun of me for my choices have been kicked out of school, jobless etc. Meanwhile, i'm sitting over here on my fat (for a college kid) bank account and 3.8 GPA.

 

Try telling a future employer you can only weld while high. Drugs and industrial machinery dont mix. Ive seen bad things happen first hand.

 

Dude. Just don’t do it. It’s illegal in the State of Texas, and it’s just a stupid thing to do at your age. Especially with employers.

My jobs awesome for time off, 5 to 9 in the morning, weekend and holidays.


But I don’t make that much.

Probably not enough to keep paying for school.

Learn up on OSHA policies bro. If you own your own business, and you are not the sole employee. You are subject to inspection. If its just you, which I cant imagine you'd make a whole lot as a one man welding company (there's no shortage of welders in Texas) you'd be a alright.
