Am I the only one who still backs up data to DVD+R discs, 8 GB at a time?

 

Nope, my Mother still does!

She has a huge spindle with every picture she has ever taken backed up.

Then thumb drives with the exact same pics.

Then they are on her google drive as well, she listens to me.

 

I don't think it would be too difficult, just a little time consuming.
Have you guys come up with anything?
I have material and welding machines at work .

 

Fragile media. I'm going to grab some extra micro sd cards, backup and store in my safe. I'm even thinking of having most pics printed.

so I drew this up this summer, but I'd want to move the spare to the right since ill always have a spare as weight but not always have the fuel jerries as weight. i am by no way an engineer (of the technical variety but more of the boom /landmine/bridging variety)

Also was thinking dual swing out to minimize swing out clearance

 

It really doesn't look like it'll be too bad, once the brackets for the hinge and lock are made the rest will be easy.
I'm no engineer either, but I've made more complicated things at work over the years.
This can be done for sure.

any of you ontario people in sudbury? i just got back into a tacoma.. last tacoma was a 2009 reg cab 4x4 with OME lift junk, a few things in between and now 2018 trd off road access cab!
