    Good day my fellow Tacos,

Today will be the first of many updates I will do regarding my 2001 Toyota Tacoma build. I've been trying for many years to slowly start my project on my truck. I know it still needs quite a bit of stuff, especially a paint job (which i'll will get next year) since its pretty bad. I recently purchased and installed a OME suspension kit. I went with the 882's with an AAL in the back with greasable shackles. I'll show some pics down
    below.

    Things I've installed:

    OME Nitrocharger's all around
    OME 882's
    OME greaseable shackles
    Extended rear brake line
    OME AAL
    33" 10.50 R15 K02's
    New headlights and corner lights
    Plasti Dipped fender flares
    New black rear bumper
    Tune up

    CAMPER SHELL STORY

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/any-thoughts-about-this-camper-shell-yea-or-nah.575069/

Things I'am slowly saving up for.

    Total chaos UCA's
Rock Sliders (not sure which brand/style yet)
    Low profile bumper
    Back bumper
    33'' x 10.5 tires

    Ray 10 wheels
    Rhino bed liner
Replace both my lower and upper ball joints
Replace my CV axle (both sides)
    Leer or A.R.E camper
    Much needed paint job
    Window Tint

Well here are some pics on what and how the install went on the OME Kit. I had a leveling lit before which gave me 2" in front lift and 1" on back. Now with this OME set up i gained a full inch up front. Now sitting leveled with 3" at front and 2" in rear.

Here's what it looked like before the OME. This pic was about a year or so old didn't have an updated one for this list, sorry. Oh Yea before anyones laughs about my damn corner light, I exchanged it to a better fitted one. Also, paint here doesn't look as bad as the current one. Just a heads up.

Heres my OME kit fresh in the box...

Now here are the ones where my truck was on the lift.

    IMG_7008.jpg
    IMG_7012.jpg
    IMG_7014.jpg
    IMG_7016.jpg

So that's everything now. Updates soon to come. Would love any suggestions and criticism and no worries I wont take anything personal.

How do you like the greaseable shackles? I have the same ones.

Oh, and did you change out the sliding rear-window or was that solid one a factory option?

Don't regret getting those greasable shackles.. My rear leaf springs squeaked like crazy even just like getting on the bed the damn thing squeaked pretty bad. After the install, say goodbye to the damn squeak noises!!!:bananadance:
As far as the sliding window, never had one. It was like that from factory.

Fascinating. I've never seen a newer 4x4 ext. cab come stock from the factory with a solid one piece.

Haha, I was way off. Looks pretty similar to the PHX area from your pics. Love the wheels on your truck BTW
