    the tacomas? the 5vz is pretty limited by the weak factory crank.. 350 max for safe id say.. the trans at the very least needs a bigger cooler and a shift kit with even just the supercharger.. diffs, i dont know what they can handle

    mine has the hand e-brake puller lol. which my e brake doesnt work

    all the tacomas do. they never came with the foot pedal. im sure i could rig one up from a tundra for this use though.

    The diffs are weak sauce too. The elocker diff is the weakest ironically. But both are probably good to about 280-340lbft of stalled torque, shock loads will just grenade them

    No the manual is actually very strong, much stronger than the auto

    i need to look into beefing mine up somehow... its the girdles thats the weakest link though isnt it?

    Yup the pinion pushes the gear over enough to ruin lash and then chowders itself up. They aren't worth putting money into to hold power. Cheaper to buy a new Ford 9" housing the right length and use that instead.

    i blew money on a brand new axle housing 3 years ago.. i dont really want to buy another axle lol

    so either aim for a lower number of power of my dream setup or ford 9" rear. what about the 7.5" in the front?

    Not a whole bunch you can do to these, especially the elocker ones to make em more solid for power. Just be easy on the throttle, no launches, no burnouts. The pinion design isn't very strong and the carrier bearing supports just aren't that stout. It's a tiny 8" diff. You could do a junkyard Ford 9" or a bigger LC axle. Hell a shortened 14bolt would be strong.

    The 7.5 you don't need to worry about. If you're in 4wd you should be driving with more caution and not pushing the limits. They can handle quite a bit though, usually a CV will blow well before the diff.

    if i were to do anything id probably try to fit a 2nd gen tundra diff in... i just cant let my self put other brand parts on my truck lol
