I'm looking for ideas on how to setup my cb radio in my 2010 Tacoma. I had a magnet mount in my old truck and it was stolen so I'm looking for new ideas on how to mount the cb radio/ antenna. Please post pics of your setup if you have them.
    Thanks guys

    What are you doing now?

Btw...did you cover the bottom of the antenna at the screw on the bottom of the mount? I used plumbers putty instead of RTF to make it easier to maintain

After a lot of research i decided I would get the best ground plane from the heaviest metal section other than the roof. I wanted the biggest broadcast point above my roof rack. I didn't want interference with my other (radio antenna) so I mounted on my Ditch light bracket. I added a ground to the hood and the main body battery grown. Got a 1.2 SWR on channel one and 40.

Where ya'all fishing your antennae coax in through to the cab? Is there a rubber plug in between cab and bed by chance like on newer fords?

I found a rubber plug under my rear seat (DCLB), popped a hole in it and ran it up through there.

I fished it through a grommet in the back cab wall.
