There was a guy down the street from me. He had a F-150 XL 4x4, one day after he had it for a year or two. One day he starting getting everything from the 4WD catalog flares, wheels/tires some type of lift, etc.
Then a few years latter he killed his live in girlfriend/wife after her mother died.

I'm guessing it was all financed through the girlfriend's credit.

I ran into a Man last week he looked pretty rough. He told me that he had ALS and that the VA told him it was from Agent Orange exposer in Nam.
He said the Va was treating him.
I pray for Him each day. His name was David.

I’ve met a bunch of those guys and the whole deal just sucks. I will say though that for the most part I’ve not had too many problems with the VA. Thankfully we also have excellent private insurance so I don’t have to deal with all of the tri-care headaches that allot of others do.

 

@G.T. He was telling me about losing his voice and the VA teaching him how to use a computer so he could talk by using eye movement. Real sad shit

was he panhandling? or what? while I hope people dont use the military to gain pity etc. It happens. You just dont know who to believe sometimes especially a stranger.

 

I meet them all in VA waiting rooms or the VFW. I’ve never met a vet with service related issues panhandling. Every one flying a sign to date turned out to be lying.

 

yeah I dont believe anyone on the street holding a sign. In the Va yeah it prob legit and also a long process where many die before even getting treated properly. sad very sad.

 

No sir he was not panhandling he owns a landscape business and needed some hyd work done on his Bobcat.
Said he had moved in with His Daughter so when he finally got where he was bad health wise he would not be alone.
