    Morning all!

Right, which is why I was searching for one that would dim the lights originally. I am not smart enough on which fuses control dash lights in that fuse box. I am going to experiment later today since I am using a fuse tap and have multiple spare fuses lying around.

Edit: I just realized that I should probably check the manual to see if there is any info in there...sometimes I'm an idiot and forget the simplest of things!

    A thing or two...
To make the switch lighting dim, you need to tap into the dimmer circuit; not the fuses under the dash. Because the lights in aftermarket OEM style switches share a ground, I'm not sure if they can be wired into the dimmer circuit. Even if you did though, I think you would only be able to dim the light that comes on with the dash lights because the other light pulls power from the source sending power to your relay.

They can be dimmed. I have mine tapped into the dimmer. But you are correct it is just the lower light that is dim-able. The upper light is full strength if the switch is "ON."

Agreed but good on Swinney making the move before the 5th game so he can RS and play next year as a grad transfer. But damnit... We are now so thin at QB. And starter or not, we could/would have used KB the rest of the year. Only have one other scholarship QB on the roster now with 4 quarterbacks transferring out since Lawrence committed.

I'm from the south... College football is King for me. Go Clemson and screw South Carolina and Florida State. Love and follow NFL, just not a die-hard fan of any team like I am Clemson.

Yea i saw that, if something happens to him, you guys might be SoL in the QB department. Are you going to be able to join us Oct 6th for some wheeling at Flagpole Knob? you don't have to camp if you got other stuff going on.

Thanks for the clarification. I knew it was possible with the dimmer circuit, but never looked into it in detail. I've never felt the need to dim my switches, so I just tap into the tail fuse. I stick with amber switches for the OE look, so they aren't super bright.

@BTHawk I just went out to look. I tapped into my cargo light switch. Green is positive and tan is ground. You need to tap both to dim.

His backup, Chase Brice, is a gundlinger and is pretty good too but yeah, we'd be fucked.

Unfortunately not. I wish. We fly back from Portland Maine at noon on the 6th and then I head back out on the 7th.

    Thanks for the clarification!

I appreciate you doing that. For now, I am going to use the TAIL in the fuse box and see how bright it actually is at night. I will definitely use this method if I want the button to dim. Nice setup and thanks again!

Major pucker factor this morning. Nothing better than shooting 12 gauge slugs with a scope.
