I would want to put a magnet on it first. Especially at that price. $960 seems cheap for stainless.

It’s actually much cheaper on other sites I’ve found. As low as $630 at some retailers

I got a quote for ARB bumper from an authorized dealer - $1,600 just for the bumper and $1,300 for install. Didn't realize the installation was that high. So postponed the idea for now. Just curious how much the rest of you are paying if you are not installing yourself. Thanks

@Vodka7martini can’t comment on the price of installation but wow that’s some serious cash. If you’re keen on dropping $1300 to install the front bull bar, let me know and I’ll clear my schedule. Otherwise I highly suggest you pull the pdf installation instructions off the arbusa site ahead of time and read it about 10-20 times, ARB’s 30 page Manual can get overwhelming. If you can’t find it, just shoot arb USA an email, they are pretty good about getting back to you in a timely manner. I’ve installed 2 of theses ARB bull bars, and found if you start early, are well prepared, stay organized, and patient you’ll be fine.

Fair warning, in my experience ARB’s Summit Bull Bar comes in a fuck ton of pieces, so separate hardware and get familiar with the parts ahead of time. Also the bull bar doesn’t come with a recovery point, nor will it work with the factory OEM tow hook, however they do sell a super duper beefy one, that’s pretty impressive. Take your time, have fun with it, and when you’re ready to buy the ARB Rear Bumper, let me know I’ll sell you mine for 1/2 of what I got it for.

Thank you for the detailed response. Yes, the labor was very high and that's made me think that I should probably be doing this on my own. Not there yet since I have a few other expenses first. Where are you located?

Great looking truck and bumper goes very well with it IMO. What steps/sliders and are they bolt on heavy duty step sliders or just basic "running boards"?

Here's my aluminum CBI T3 Bumper with the mid hoop. We only had pics of the bumper without the hoop and full protection.

And not for nothing, but this is why putting at least a general location in your profile helps. Install costs in South TX are likely different than either coast or wherever.Obviously an extreme difference in this case, but locale can factor.
