What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Got it done.... took alot of work to get it in nice, flush, and sturdy to work with my shell. Had to trim the lid, add correct spacing of washers between rail and ammo can to sit flat and have the lid operational while keeping it in between the shell lip bolts. But its in and im happy

 

And just cause lol... im a soccer mom

 

finally got my lift finished. full ome, 887s, jba ucas, and dakars. very happy with it. drives like a truck now. now to find an access cab door for the drivers side

Got this in the mail, 20 min ago!!

 

Prep, prime, paint.

 

147,029 oil change, installed a fumoto, cleaned the AFE engine air filter. Lubed the 5 spots on the propellor shaft with red and tacky. Changed the cabin air filter.
Today I could have used a creeper.
Oh and I finally routed the power cable for my dash cam.

 

Replaced the original battery with this guy. Saved 30.00 through Sams Club.

 

Most useless mod...

 

Swapped out my LED tails for the incandescent ones. My truck looks better to me and so does the other guy's.

this was the highlight....

 

Installed a wireless charger in my 2015.

 

Installed expedition springs today. Ride is much better now. Heading to Moab next month, now just trying to get everything ready.

 

Decided it was time to continue down the LED strip rabbit hole an install the LED's for the tailgate when the door of the shell is open.

Kept it all clean and tucked up. Used split loom where I could. Next up will be a 1/0 or 2/0 cable run to the back from the battery, a blue sea fuse panel, switches, and a rewire of the lights along with the wiring of the 7 pin. For those who are curious, the velcro you see if for my window blockouts.

Changed the plugs!



Electrodes were worn down a bit.. not quite the correct gap. They weren’t the originals because they were all Denso but at 188k I’m sure this was only the second changing.


I had to improvise with my extensions but it worked great!
