Help upgrading my tires to match my lift

I have an '08 Tacoma, TRD Off-Road, 4x4, Short Bed. I just put a lift on it, 3" to the front and a 2" leveling blocks to the rear. I want to upgrade my tires too, but I'm worried about rubbing my A-arm. My stock tires are a 265/70/16. I've had conflicting suggestions to go with either a 285/75/16, but others told me to go with a 255/85/16. I want to just fill up my wheel well a little and not rub anything. Anyone go thru this before?

 

A lot of people run a 285/75R16. If you are going to use your factory wheels, you may need wheel spacers though.

 

Well do have stock wheels?

 

I was hoping to use my stock wheels. But I hear spacers come loose alot and cause mongo problems

 

Wheel spacers, like the spidertrax are no different than bolting on a wheel. The only reason it would come off is just like a wheel when someone doesn't torque the nuts properly. People do some hard-core wheeling with spacers, and never have any issues.
