So I got the wheels I wanted, and I've got nearly new 265/70r17 Wildpeak on them. I'm ready to lift the truck, but Im wondering if the tires are going to look right with a 2" lift.

It may look a little off. Mine does with 265/75r16 STT Pros, but not terribly bad I don't think. This is about 5" lift in the rear and 3" up front. 2" and r17 may be okay, though.

Then how did you hit your diff. if he routinely goes there. The guys who have spotted me put me in perfect positions where no damage was ever incurred and helped me get through the obstacles.

Those trails and obstacles with the bigger rocks are the fun ones. Not a walk in the park for sure but not extremely difficult either. I got stuck on Dickey where you are talking about and had to take a strap, open/open was not my friend that day.

No idea but I trusted him since it was my first time there. I’ll have to be more vigilant when we go to Windrock as to not mess that rear-end up anymore.

Tbh no. Everyone been quoting me around 11-1700 for a rebuild. I don't feel like spending that much after already putting 9 in it. I'm butt hurt about it still. If I had a cape I'd be super mad

Man, I wouldn't think it would be that much for a bench job. About 5 years ago, I paid about $1250 for mine, and that included R&R in the truck. I don't know, but I wouldn't think it would have gone up that much, but maybe.

I had a Buick that had transmission issues. It was under dealer warranty and they used a shop in Anderson to get it rebuilt. Wish I knew who it was because they did a terrific job. The Buick came back shifting as smooth as if from the factory. Still was a Buick, though, and fell apart for other reasons, which led me to my first Tacoma.

Everything is up. Just like trailers. 20' trailer was 2500 two years ago. Now they are close to 5,000

Took my mower deck off to change blades and had it standing up. Turned my back for a sec and it fell over and slid down below my calf.
    Ice pack time.

Looks like I'll be awol for the musterground run tomorrow.

Aspirin the shit out of it!

Leaning towards yes. I was gonna work on painting my bumper in the morning, cleaning up the new winch, etc, and still might, but the trails are calling!
