Surely because you bathe in it to avoid rusting yourself.

I saw that one last night, thought about running up there actually. But I don't need to put this together for a little bit so I got a cheaper one used with some other parts I may need.

 

well my friend got out of the mud finally. he slept in the truck and borrowed a shovel and a guy helped him get his dodge home.

 

Turbo 2RZ in a Datsun 620 pickup, that's a lot of engine for a light little truck haha. That truck came stock with a 1.6L 4cyl single overhead cam carbureted engine haha.

Stuck at a wedding/reception in Norwich, Ct.

1500 miles round trip to watch a wedding and have some dinner.

Yes. It works. But I’d rather just take it to bare metal

 

i agree its a good temp fix for me. use it for a couple of years then you better do something about it

 

Works fine if you get rid of the scale. Never had it come off. But getting to bare metal and using a good primer and chassis paint is what’s I prefer... but then again I like to be busy

 

I’m actually going to Eastwood’s store now to get more chassis paint... going to finish painting the welds on the new frame..

 

Drive... Pfft. Fly dude. 150 miles round-trip I can see but 1500!?! Unless you rented a car...

 

im looking for a good auto paint/repair shop. theres a local-ish guy my dad knows and is a friends with. but i like options
