Built a target box in the backyard. Have exactly 20 yards. It's really fuckin hard getting hay in the city, but I convinced a local store to sell me 2 bales from their Halloween decorations. Come Nov 1st I'll go get 2 more from them, for now this is good. Not a fan of that Cabelas target, arrows were really damn hard to get out, so just shooting the hay now. Tips just barely squeek out the back.

Punched both lungs with a Rage 100gr Hypodermic. She went about 125 yards into the nastiest thickest crap. Couldn't believe she went that far.

I have two Nebo LED flashlights with me as well as a PrincetonTec Fuel headlamp. All three take AAA batteries and I have a spare set. LED's are really bright and pick up blood very well. If you want old school, use a Coleman Lantern with a reflector. There is absolutely no better way to blood trail at night. Not a bad idea to keep one in the truck. They have saved the day (or night) on more than one occasion.

Put up another camera today and scouted an area we have only hunted a time or two. Checked another camera in a CRP field that has grown for almost 25 years. Nasty place. Had a 130 on that but so far that's as big as I have on camera. The good news is that my camera was still there. Spider webs are wonderful to walk thru. Been bowhunting for 27 years and still look forward to the first day I get to go. Good luck to all!!
