I seriously can't believe how good old school steelies look on the truck! That's awesome. From a design perspective I can't say why I think the simpler/cleaner wheels look better on the gen3s, they just do.

It’s because they look like armored truck military or SWAT wheels

    I guess.

Their truck, their money, their choice. Still looks like they’re trying too hard to me.

I agree that many people do the try hard thing and don’t actually use the truck as a truck. There are also a lot of ugly ass rims being called out as good looking on here. Baffles me...

Jusy wanted to chime in with an agreement with OP it’s really my hardest decision with my truck I’ve been running my OEM wheels into the ground and I am ready to upgrade but I cannot decide. I had 4 bronze ray 10’s in my hands but couldn’t pull the trigger on them. Now I am thinking the 4 runner pros but I am kinda meh on them too. I can’t stand fuels probably cause every jacked up F150 has some version and they look terrible.

Of course he does. I never said he didn’t. Personal opinion and what not. I read the thread I know you have made a lot of money on aftermarket wheels. But I haven’t found the ones for me.

...and therein lies the big dilemma.

find what you like and rock them. i’m fortunate i get to be a part of the process. We make a lot of shit i personally don’t like as well, but if we only designed for tacoma dudes id probably never see another raise.

@blackohio those new wheels are great. Most Fuel wheels have struck me as over-the-top ornamental. I'd like to see more of your off-road designs with plain or windowed lips, vs. faux beadlocks and/or fake bolts.

Simple, forged OR wheels as well: something to compete with Volk TE37 and Enkei RPT1.

    And: SIXTEENS!
