Will upgrading the speakers only improve the sound/volume? I don’t have the patience anymore to run wires and install amps.

There is a Thread on here for the speaker upgrade, for the price it really sounds good.

You want louder, you either have to get a new head unit that pushes more power or an amplifier. Either way, you’ll have to get new speakers to push them puppies. Just replacing the speakers like in that thread makes it sound much, much better.

Cause it took less then 10 minutes and under 100 bucks. Il do the doors later on. Did the tweeters just based on the thread on here and it’s well worth the upgrade.

Fwiw, the tweeters are just ok. For $79 you can get the kicker 6x9s with tweeters in them. I noticed almost nothing from the $100 tweeters, but changing out the doors was very noticeable. All 4 doors were $135.

The clarity and sound are so much improved that you don't have to turn the volume up as high.

Just replacing the Tweeters make a world of difference! Best bang for the buck.:thumbsup:

I did however just ad a cheap underseat powered subwoofer. Also made a world of difference.

Just ordered the tweeters and 4 kicker speakers based on the other post. I looked into the Noico 50 mil but it looks too time consuming. I’m hoping with a complete speaker swap the sound will be much better. Thanks for the responses

Yes, it's worth it, but make sure you are upgrading with sensitive speakers like in the $250 thread. Also, understand that the speakers recommended in that thread equals 6 tweeters. It can be very bright.....

Make sure I am upgrading with sensitive speakers? What do you mean?

Very bright? I guess I’ll have to turn the treble down some

All speakers have a sensitivity rating, as well as Watts, Ohms, etc. The higher the sensitivity number, the better.

I bought the ones that were recommended. Thinking about using rubber washers on the bolts that secure the speakers

You'll be fine. I Noico'd around the speaker "hole" to create a seal as well as Noico'ing the speaker adapter itself
