    Dido!
I actually just spoke to a rep and the clips are a little cleaner now (just one clip and not two). It will sit a little behind the cab mount. I’m in the same boat.. need it to clear my 285/70 17’s.

    The shift knob is here:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...-2-1-4-diameter-utilizes-factory-boot.534205/

The boot is from redlinegoods.com. You can get as crazy as you want with the boot. Any color stitching you want, different color panels, triple stitching etc. I just wanted something simple. I wish I had bought the brake boot too. You have to take the center console out and it would be an easy swap along with the shift boot.

Bakflip G2. Installed in around 45 minutes going slow. If doing it again I would:
1- leave the cleats on the rails for the tie down system. No need to remove them

2- Use a T-30 not a 27 on the factory bolts. I stripped one but luckily Bakflip supplies longer ones for the install. I drilled out the stripped one and hammered a flat head screw driver in to remove the original stripped bolt.

When cruise control is going wacko, try S5. Seems to help a little.

Got the tires dirty. Pro tip; if you want your painted wheels to stay clean, use chemical guys ez creme.

It's not hard, but it's an hour of cutting with fishing line, then painstakingly scraping off the remaining adhesive. Recommend parking in the sun for several hours prior to warm it up

Edit- goo gone removed the adhesive aftermath well.
