Haha um yea a little bit. I’m a coming from a pretty heavily modified 2nd gen, so I have a lot of parts to swap over.

Fox 2.5s with DSC and 2.0s in the rear
    Dakar medium leaf springs
Archive garage u bolt flip with super bumps
    Camburg ucas
Scs stealth 6 wheels with 255/80/17 st maxx
    Prinsu racks with light bar

And more I can’t remember. I also have front and rear bumpers with a winch. I’ll keep the winch and sell the bumpers, then buy some new ones when I’m ready. It’ll be weird to swap all that onto a truck with less than 100 miles on it haha.

I would not rule that out. Around 5 years ago I had one shipped, insured on a car carrier trailer, from coast (San Diego CA) to coast (Chesapeake VA) for $900. So if you save enough money on a deal, compared to your local dealers, it is possible to ship and still save $$$. The down side is no test drive or magnified inspection of what you buy. For me it was a great deal. You get several quotes from different carriers when you submit your info.

I also found this to be VERY true. I really wanted a Cement manual trans, but told dealers I would take any color and that I would “consider” a manual if it were cheaper.

As much as it is possible, don’t tell them your preferences- they will 100% use it to leverage price. You’ve gotta subtly work them until they do it for you. They will especially kill you if you want any premium packages.

Nice job man! That’s the exact truck I’m picking up next week. Glad you found a Cement- love that color, not easy to find. The resell on that color in a few years is gonna be great- heck, it already is.

Mind me asking what your OTD price was?

I think it was $400 something... ridiculous. They took $200 off and I figured it was worth it not to deal with it myself. They're just plastic pieces that pop off you can probably DIY for considerably cheaper. I don't know, I didn't look into it.

Thanks dude. Definitely stoked on it! It's pretty insane how difficult it is to find if you're looking for specific packages, etc.

OTD was a hair over $40,000.

Picked up yesterday. MSRP was $37555. With $1000 rebate, got it for $33600. The dealership I worked with was great!19E90150-CA0A-4DB9-8D44-43C7B2D53884.jpg

They will. Or at least have. However I used miles from my card and had a hell of a fun road trip. Did some visiting here and there. Only prob is surrounding tax. AZ has reciprocity and roughly the same rate (a little higher based on the city) so it was t an issue. Basically they will make you pay Cali tax so if it’s close and you can count it cool, but check. Last thing you want is to go register it and have to pay taxes again in home state.

Mine was a off road double cab with tech package 4x4. DMV charge was a one way ticket out of Cali since I drove. Basically, if it hits their road you pay it. In AZ it’s a 3 dollar fee but o well. I went and found the actual numbers instead of my head guessing from last post so not 35.5 but 35.4, close enough.
    MSRP: $36,250.
    SELLING PRICE: $32,445.
    DMV: $67.75
    TAX: $2,805.28
OTD: $35.398.03 not including 1k rebate as I was waiting to figure out if I wanted rebate or 1.9

Don't buy any cars in the bay area. Go up to Freeman Toyota.

I went to get service at Piercey and saw this gem

Yea I'm not going to fly out anywhere just to save a thousand bucks or so. I know itit be a blast, but I don't have the time these days.

So is that 1.9 financing rate a promotional thing? Was that on 60 months or only 48?

Any idea the ideal price I should haggle for a '18 SR5 4x4 crewcab shortbed? Best price dealer quoted me is $33k and after I stopped communication, they keep calling me back so I think I can negotiate it down but not sure how to offer back? This is their last 18 left on the lot so I think they are trying to get rid of it now.

Pretty basic stock with dealer installed black side steps and dark alloy wheels but it has red accents and door panels on the interior (upgrade?). Barelona red color.

    Thanks.

Do you have the msrp that includes the steps? The rims and interior are options, but not upgrades. They shouldn’t add anymore to the price than the regular rims and regular grey interior.

What is rebate in your area? It looks like they are quoting you around $200-$400 below invoice. But I’m curious if that’s with rebate added in. Black with red stitching is a standard option and not an upgrade. I believe the satin wheels shouldn’t be extra either. If there is a $1000 rebate I would say go for $32500 plus ttl and be good with that.

MSRP is $36,448 (seems high to me for a SR5)?? It's in another city but I'm headed there for my birthday vacation next weekend so might stop at the 'Stealership' and try to haggle some more. Perfect birthday gift would be I end up sealing the deal and driving back home in a brand new Tacoma :)

2018 TRD OR, 4x4, DCSB, Super White, with Technology Package for $34.7 before TTL. Seems like a good deal based on what I've seen on this thread. Located in SoCal.

Does this register in the good-fair range?
