If it winds up just being Mason and I, I'm just gonna meet him at the Double T in Ellicott City.

Go to Zillo.com to check house prices. Not sure about real estate in Vermont but be prepared for sticker shock.

My stepson just bought a single family house in Glen Burnie yesterday. Fully re-habed for $243k. He works at a company called Polmotro (they make rescue equipment like the jaws of life) that's near BWI and the house he bought is 10mins away.

This meet is posted on 4-5 pages, there should be a decent turnout but who knows.

I've had some TW members asking when the next cabin meet is gonna be scheduled. I'm thinking mid to late October. Leaves will be showing their Fall colors up there. I love it in the mountains in the Fall. I'll keep you all posted once i have a date set.

Something to consider is our commutes. Any direction towards Baltimore City, or other higher concentrations of employment during rush hour will absolutely suck. And that means points south of BWI are not always immune to this effect. So look at the major routes, I-95, I-295, I-695 and then look at the area you're interested in and then look at how you will get to BWI from there. An area north of BWI with a southbound commute will definitely be more pleasant.

This shouldn't govern your choice but it should definitely be a consideration. It could be the difference between a 30 minute commute and a hour commute.

Also, try to stay away from areas near public transportation. Statistics show they allow a higher possibility of crime that areas without it doesn't. This is also dependent on the actual area so look up crime stats while searching.

There are a lot of excellent areas to live and raise a family around Baltimore you just have to look at all the data available.

I'm very proud to be a Maryland resident.

Any of you guys coming today happen to have a set of Tacoma OEM Bilstein front shocks and springs? Looking for a set to use on my 2005 4Runner. Need to replace my originals at 250K miles and these will offer a slight lift so can't beat that.

Yeah factory suspension is generally worthless to most but can sometimes be used as a very cheap or free upgrade for someone not looking to go crazy or working on a very low budget build. Decided I'll likely keep this truck, get it running, do a few simple mods to it, maybe sell it after that, maybe keep it for a while, who knows lol.
