Maybe go buy some octane booster/injector cleaner and ten gallons of fresh gas. Then try and get the old stuff through the injection system by just cranking it over.

Seems weird it would just die though. Might be more going on.

Put a few gallons of fresh gas (91) with fuel cleaner in it.

The thing that sucks is gas turns within 3 months. With Stabil, that might take 9 months to start.

If the pump isn’t going, try running it backwards for a few seconds. The potential for the pump to fail is why I suggest only a few gallons and fuel cleaner.

Untrue, haven’t you seen any apocalypse or zombie movies/shows? Gas is good for years just sitting in car tanks.

How’s that work? Switch the wires to the pump?

Is the goal clear up the “filter” on the pump intake? Or maybe the pump itself?

I wonder if you could crack the fuel line somewhere and run the pump to clear the old gas out. Gas motors don’t mind running lean..

I believe in second gens fuel filter is inside gas tank so it's a major PITA. You will have to drop the tank to replace it. Most likely fuel filter is clogged. I would take out one of fuel injectors and see if they are getting fuel in the lines.

I’d just light it on fire.

Pull the wheels and suspension and replace it with cinder blocks, it’ll help with legitimacy.

No. Sometimes the gunk is enough to cause the pump to stick. Running it backward might unstick it. Maybe.

    And yes. Reverse wires.

Cal4Wheel has their news letters on-line. Past events, upcoming events, reports on stuff people did, and all the goods on access issues.
One of the articles talks about trail adoption. In particular, the shelf road on Mt. Patterson. Mud, Sweat, and Gears have participated in the repair of the road as well as taking care of replacing the summit flag for the last seven years.

It's hard to imagine what some of the more popular runs would be without the efforts of volunteers. And it would be difficult, at best, without the effort by the club to maintain access for off highway vehicles.

We see this all the time. Of course, we're talking about a difference in fuel quantity and who knows how careful the user was measuring stabilizer to fuel ratios and how full the tank was upon storage (a full tank is better than a half tank).

Well, 9.5 gallons of premium, 1 can of Royal Purple injector cleaner, and one can of Royal Purple octane booster, plus about 40 cranks on the starter. The Silver Ghost is running!
