It's new......mods starting soon. Removed step bars so far. lol
I paid $900 for my wheels / tires and lugnuts. They were brand new dealer take-offs purchased right from the dealer so considering I bought from the dealer I thought the price was good. Tires still had nipples on the tread. They originally wanted $1,200 but I said they were too high. Offered $900 and they accepted which was surprising because dealers usually don't budge on price for much.

What TPMS are you guys using in these wheels?

    Here is my situation:
2007 Tacoma Base (Factory Steel Wheels)

Will be installing 2016 TRD-OR wheels on said Truck. Wheels currently don't have TPMS. Will 2016 TPMS sensors "talk" to the system in my 2007?

I just put electrical tape over the warning light. I honestly can't be bothered to pay $ for a feature i don't use. I understand others not appreciating this ghetto approach.

Just picked up my set of 2018 OR wheels and lug nuts for $350. They only had 2,700 miles on them.

    Patience is key.

Minimum I'm paying here in Canada for that same setup of oem take-offs from a 3rd gen is between $1,500-$2,000.

I think the cheapest I found was $1,300 because the tires were almost finished.

I think the worst thing too is the tires aren't usually a desirable type or size which then makes the deal worth it even less.

    In Ottawa, Ontario.

There are even many sellers listing 2nd gen sport wheels with tires from $1,000-$1,500

Damn, and I thought BC was bad.
    Patience, it'll happen.
It's ridiculous how if you look for the same item or part for a Tacoma, it's 3 times the cost for a similar item for the same year of Ford Ranger.

I just looked on Rock Auto. $600 for a set of 4 TRD Sport wheels shipped to your door, better yet, that's CANADIAN dollars, shipping included. (They may actually be made in Canada anyway)

    Look under 2016 Tacoma-> 3.5 liter -> Wheels
    That's a fair deal.

That's DEFINITELY a fair deal. And I completely tacoma parts seem to be much more inflate than other brands of trucks.

Here is an example local wheelset for sale. The seller says "brand new" but keep in the mind, the description says they are take-offs from 2017. $1,700

Yikes. Yeah, complain as much as I do, wheelsets are cheaper here. Probably more competition.
