It went to zero with the truck running normally. Then back to the normal 41.

Guess it’s a gauge or sending unit problem.

 

I have had mine in for 5k I think. Since I put the supercharger on. I’ll
Pull them this winter.

 

The majority of the time you are dealing with a gauge or sending unit problem when it comes to erratic readings. Makes you question the integrity of the original equipment.

What's the latest? Get it all done?

 

I was thinking about amputating the water line to the tb. Cap off one side and putting a temp sensor on the other. Will it be an accurate reading? Was going for a cleaner look than an inline fitting on the large hose. Whatcha think guys?

 

i capped the throttle body coolant off and capped the thermostat housing.

If you have the sensor down into the moving fluid it should be accurate. If it sits up in the stagnant area it might not be.

Got a few things happening all at once.

 

Added that high flow fuel check valve post URD fuel filter. Doesn't always help on a cold start, but sure doesn't hurt, esp. when the engine is warm.

 

What are everyone's opinions on oil catch cans in here? Is there more of a benefit to be had with a supercharged engine versus n/a? been thinking about adding one lately.. Any opinions/knowledge on these would be appreciated

 

I have one. No complaints. It prevents residue buildup in the intercooler but I dont have any back to back data to determine pre and post catch can temperature deltas.
