I should have replied to your PM after bringing this up with the team. My bad.

It should have been addressed before the weekend, but appears it hasn't. We are closed on the weekends so you probably won't see another reply from me until tomorrow.

Just installed four S2 pro's on the truck this weekend. I installed two flush mount in the rear bumper and the other two on either side of the frontrunner rack. These lights are amazing! I was shocked at how bright they are in person and how far the work/scene pattern throws light. If you're thinking about buying these I would definitely recommend these!

    Bump.

Not looking to blind people and get flashed. Need something for daily use; day AND night. Perhaps wide cornering as recommended but with Amber covers?

Looking for real world experience and applications.

At this time none of our lights are DOT approved or street-legal. The Squadron Sport (wide cornering) was considered street-friendly, but with our recent update I would NOT recommend running on the street with other traffic. These are too bright for street use with other vehicles.

How does scene differ from wide cornering?

The Work/Scene pattern was formerly called Flood. It's an excellent work light or “scene light” pattern with an extremely smooth 120° circle that projects about 40ft. This pattern is not suitable for driving

The Wide Cornering pattern offers a 42° flattened horizontal beam for the ultimate in comfort lighting. This covers the near field area and is ideal in poor conditions like snow, fog, dust, or rain.

If you run them on a switch pro the squadron pros can be run on the street I do all the time the switch pro has dimming feature which gets them to a nice usable level on the street. But that is also a little more of an investment but well worth it if you are planning to run multiple lights or things that need switches

TC 3.5 LT, RCV axles, Demello sliders, BD light bar/fogs, LP6, DMZ rear, SOS skids, custom bumper, King 16" triples, Locked-on hydro rear bumps...
I have the Rigid Duallys on my truck solely because of this for the fogs. Everything else is BD with a light cover on unless Im on trail.

    Thanks for the clarification!

For reverse / rack lights I was thinking of wide cornering but I think the scene pattern may be a better application for this purpose

If they are up high go with Work/Scene. If they are bumper mounted go with Wide Cornering :)

I run my pros at a third to half power for street use with the dimmer switch I installed. Then use full power off road or backroads in the mountains.

Is a big switch, readily available, and easy to use.

    Low power, 1/4

    Full power
