    Not sure. The homeowner posted on FB asking if anyone has security cameras on that block because his stoop was stolen.

    Hey guys, friend of mine is looking for a dirt bike project, something cheap that she can fix and built. If someone have one or know about it, please let me know. 125 cc or bigger would be great! Thanks!

    They must have been wooden. No one is walking off with marble steps. Each step is a single block slab. Even the side panels have to weigh close to 60 lbs each. Those slabs have to weigh close to 200 lbs or more.

    But I do find it mildly humorous.

    Well, that doesn't mean someone didn't steal them back then but judging by the looks of the door, I'm betting the steps were falling apart and were removed. Odd though now the door is painted white. But even that is old in your pic is old and starting to look like hell. The window too. Also, is that a mail slot? And not just any mail slot, a super wide one. Odd.

    It makes me wonder if the house to the left is part of the house without the steps. You know these guys buy these houses side by side and then make them one huge row house. That's been going on ever since I was a kid. Could be that is is in progress. But to post a false claim on FB like that makes me wonder about insurance fraud. Of course, if I can turn up that info, so can the insurance adjuster.

    I work for the fire department in West Baltimore. I’m 100% retiring to the PNW When I’m done here. lol

    As for those neighborhood Facebook pages (Canton, Fed hill, fells point). Those things are absolutely terrible. People on there complain about the most ridiculous PETTY stuff. News flash you live in Baltimore get over it and expect that things are going to happen or move.
    //end rant. :hattip:

    Started disassembly tonight. Not to bad for about 3.5 hours of work and my first time digging into one of these engines. Heads are coming off tomorrow. Not sure if there is any valve damage, engines are said to be non interference but I have no way to know and I really don't want to pull all this apart again. Never hurts rebuild heads with 250K miles on them anyway.

    Much appreciated. If you could send me the torque spec and sequence sheets for the head bolts that would be great. Save me a bunch of digging around and crossing my fingers I found the right info.

    Yep i'll be ordering them along with all the gaskets and a complete timing set. Finny thing is, the cam chains are perfect, dead on. Not sure what caused the main chain to fail but this is how it was when I bought it.

    I pulled that STI that's been sitting at my work for the past few years over to my side of the building. It fired right up with a jumpstart, turbo is noisy. This may be my rally car for those gravel/dirt roads up at my cabin.
