i'll give you some blues are extreme. pick and choose what blues for sure.

I've got a Black and Decker that I carry. The one time I forgot it, I got a ding in my door from a root I wanted to cut.

 

Could've used that chainsaw to fix that tree that took out your valve stem at Choccolocco... or you could've used a pocket knife. Haha

 

After a bit of research found out the one to tune a CB may not be the right kind to tune a Ham radio. Trying to get mine done before I leave for Colorado soon.

 

If I remember right, that is correct. The CB SWR meters are rated for 28-32 MHz I think. Anything outside that range and it could cause damage. I was hoping to use the same SWR meter as well and looked in to buying one to use for both set ups. But you can't argue with science I guess.

 

that would've been the hindsight, because I had no idea it was there.

I need to order some new tires and get a matching spare. I just don't wanna put that kinda money into this right now.

I'll never understand why people do this. Found this old Chevy 63-66 I believe, left to rot next to this building. No telling how long it's been sitting there. Google Maps street view shows it there in 2013. I'm pretty sure I found it going back in time on Google Earth. Obviously there are circumstances that are beyond my knowledge of why it's there but for the love of history save this vehicle. At least sell it to someone who will resurrect it. Looking at it up close it is still worth saving.

Curious to where some of you guys have your CB mounted in your gen 2?

 

Mounted in the center console in the cubby just in front of the shifter. Cut a hole in the back of it in order to slide the coax and power cable through. Looks fairly clean IMO.

 

on the right side of the center console down by the passengers feet sort of. where a lot of folks have put it. I think have an external speaker wired to the spot that Wes has his CB above, in that little cubby.

 

I don't have a 2nd gen but I mounted mine on the back of the console where someone sitting in the rear middles knees would be.
