Got a text from Randy saying that my event registration didn't go through. I just re-registered and got a receipt for Rendezvous. Called Byrd's and learned that I've moved three places up on the electric site standby list which now puts me at 27th from the top. Looks like a good battery charge and a sneak into an empty RV site to load water before rolling to the primitive area is on the schedule.

I have never been to Byrd's so I don't know the layout. Have any of you been there before that can point out where the primitive area is in comparison to say the grass flight line?

EDIT: Got a copy of the event schedule from Randy as well.

    Yeah.
I have not been there, but I *think* the primitive area is to the east between the electric sites and the east grass runway. The map they have online shows an arrow going that way to primitive camping, just doesn't show the primitive area.

Just got this which confirms what you have.

So the question of the day is, where do we want to set up our camp space at? I’ve got permission to set the camper up in the primitive area so we’ll have a base camp for hanging out and cooking.

Hope you guys have been well. I think I want to take my front suspension down a notch. I just dont think I need that much lift for 33's. When is the next mod day.

Not scheduled but I’d be okay with this coming Saturday the 6th. Only problem is that it’s Columbus Day weekend so some may already have other commitments.

I was thinking the same. Probably pretty packed in there.

I haven’t heard from anyone else but I’ll open the shop on Saturday. I’ve got stuff to get done and I’d like to have it sorted before another road trip.
