Yeah, I've been working 12's so getting home at 3:45 AM makes it hard to get up early... I'm so ready for my vacation.

 

Been there...done that shit in some former jobs.....it'll kell ya...

 

Yeah I'm just in a grind stage with mine anymore. For the past 3 years I've been averaging 10 -12 hour days. I'm salary and only get paid based off an 8hr day. Hoping things slow down finally come spring.

Was just reading through and I saw this and thought, "I really don't know if the bedsides would take all the weight of the tailgate..."

 

Ordered ATH bedside Reinforcements! They're on sale so I jumped on them. Thanks to @jeff b for making me aware!

 

Picked up a Tool box for the bed, was only $25 so I couldn't pass it up. I'll have to fab up some mounts since its not wide enough to sit over the bed sides. I'll just tie it into the bed rails. He measured it but I though he was measuring the lower portions width, not the upper portion, so its 56" wide at the top.

 

Something came in the mail! That was quick!

 

Nice, those are a must for folks who off road their rigs or have bed caps. Rest is iffy lol.

 

Yeah I wheel it, so I'd like to get them in before I start to see the issues!

 

Love my TC ones!!! My bed was already a little spread out when I bought the truck and these definitely pulled them back in. Plus I love the tie down points I use them all the time.

 

Nice. I couldn't pass up the deal on the ATH's. Plus I'll always have bottle openers in a handy spot.

 

Bottle opener would be good if I drank beer but I can open them with my teeth.

 

I'm more of a whiskey/scotch/bourbon guy but a cold brew isn't bad every now and then. And cheaper.

 

I hardly drink anymore it's been a month or more since I had a beer

 

I only drink on social occasion usually. Though, I've been having a cold one before bed to get rid of the leftovers from the trip.

 

Anyways, I did my homework on tires and found that my 265/70R17 Hankook Dynapro ATM's that are currently on the truck are the same weight as Falken Wildpeak AT3W's in 285/70R17! So I won't be gaining any weight over what's already installed!

Probably will have to change out tires in a year or two so I won't see them anytime soon. Leaves me time to ponder UCAs, CMC, and fender trimming. Maybe in two years I'll buy some new wheels to put the rubber on.

I didn't take a whole lot of pictures since I was trying to focus on enjoying my time. Pardon picture quality, a nice phone hasn't been in the budget, and my Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime (cheapo-depot android) leaves a lot to be desired.

 

Are you lifted?
If you can get caster good some trucks don't need a cmc wait till you go bigger on the tires and get an alignment with 3+°of caster.
Shouldn't need any fender trimming with 285s.

 

I'm lifted, 2-2.5" on Bilstein 5100s. (Second from bottom notch on stock Sport coils.)
Still running OEM UCAs though so not alot of play for caster.
