Amazon, however they do not stay stuck on. The texture on the interior for these trucks makes nothing stick to them

For now i just tied the cable into a small loop and might run it through the dash at some point.

Trying to get caught up on all those things I wanted to do over the summer before the snow flies.

Finally got my Redline hood struts installed today.

To those that recommended this thing from Harbor Freight...

 

Cyanoacrylate is “super glue”. Model cement has (had) toluene and other stuff in it that actually melts and fuses the polystyrene plastic that models are made of. The good stuff from the early days is what people would sniff to get high on. I don’t think it’s made the same way anymore. Not sure.

 

Still waiting on my struts to come in.

 

Do yourself a favor and get one of those long-handled HF riveters (if you don't already have something similar). Check for sales and discount coupons, of course. I think I paid < $15

I still have some fine tuning to do and haven't yet cranked up the front - coilovers are set as they came. But only very, very minor rub that a heat gun will likely cure.

Used it for work today. Cruising the pipeline right-of-way in southern Saskatchewan with a colleague from the US of A. A little snow overnight, some muddy conditions, and some super soft sandy spots. I hate it that I have to be gentle with the accelerator and can't open it up, lest I be out of work.

Got the Cali Raised antenna mount installed and am using a quick-connector for my safety flag. So far the bracket is holding up to the flag grabbing the wind at 65mph if I have it up on the highway. Thanks to Cali for a great product that solved a major irritation for me.

@EagleUSMCRet, I figured out that my wife's set of keys to my truck was in the cab which is why the doors wouldn't lock. She denies it, but the touchpad worked just fine today when she wasn't with me.

 

Couldn't decide whether I wanted the classic Toyota logo or the TRD for my new grill, so I just went with both.

For a 2wd it handled 18" of muddy/sandy water pretty well this weekend. Found pieces of lesser trucks and tow straps littering the road around the water

 

Ok so I got around to the HPS intake pipe install in “Red” as black sells out ASAP. So besides OV Tune 1.04 93octane, URD MK2 y-pipe, BORLA Cat-back, TRD air filter, TRD intake accelerator which have been on the Taco for a year now. I also removed the post-filter charcoal screen too. Exhaust drowns out any intake sounds but I need more miles to decipher if it helps...right now it just feels like I put red lipstick on this POS 3.5L Toyo motor

 

Just to be safe leave her home for a couple of days. What else can you do. You can't legally spank her. Not without her permission.

 

Added reservoirs to my Icon Stage II Coilovers and had them rebuilt / re-valved. Also had them converted from standard to extended travel. A big thank you to Kurt and his crew over at DC Shock Services in San Dimas, CA. I highly recommend them for your suspensions needs.

 

I ordered one from Amazon and was looking at a lot of people who put some kind of adhesive to take extra precautions. So I ordered mine and was going to JB weld the letters of but when I received mine, mine were already installed and sealed. My phone was dead at the time and I was impatient and didn’t get a pic but if I pull my grill off again I will definitely take and post a pic.
