    Yup.

The canopy tour place is actually off of Harris road, but no one know where that is.

    Need pics of Supra.

So I get to jealously stalk @Suprajim54 in Texas and already have a replacement in GA.....

I've got a build thread of it too. He's been a huge help with it so far. I need to get some new pics of it soon

I see beers in your future.

For cost reasons, I think I've decided that I'll just look to get a non-turbo targa top 5-speed. I saw one in Houston that I should have jumped on for $3500 but it wasn't turbo. In hindsight, I should have bought because of how good it was in condition. I'm not willing to budge on the manual transmission and I'm pretty firm on the targa top. I really want turbo, but would be more cost effective to just do an engine swap....if you can find a good 7M-GTE anymore...those things seem to be becoming extremely hard to find.

My only stipulation was for it to be 5-speed. Didn't really car about the turbo or not because it'll be faster than the truck. But I lucked out with this one. 7M-GTE 5-speed wish it didn't have the targa tho as mine leaks every now and then. I would like to do a 1j or a 2j swap in the future but not for a while

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Bronze!!..and don’t think on it another minute! My buddy has those Bronze wheels on his taco out west. Holy Hell his truck is a serious show stopper...my other friend got one of the 4runners from that movie Black Panther, it also has Bronze wheels. Super bad ass, but then again you have to have the balls to run such a unique look, most people ain’t got the kahonies to pull it off.

@MDB Taco If you wanted I could make a complete digital double of you, to the exact details of your face. Make you turn into a Transformer and make you breakdance.

Lol, too funny. I went to school for 3D Animation and Special FX for film. I own a company here in Atl, in which I create FX for film shots; commercials for Marines, Coke, Home Depot, and Sports.
I was an Art Director for 15yrs at Turner Entertainment creating the brands you guys watch on TV. If I am rooting my own horn, I might as well blast it. When it comes to Graphics of any nature, I got the chops to see it thru no matter how intense the project. When they call in the big guns, I get a call. Lol
I also own a small landscape company that does well for itself.

Hahaha, maybe I’ll get you to do that one day just for the sheer novelty of it.

Clearly when I was deciding what to go to school for they were holding out on where the big money was it. I guess the world was just really hurting for engineers is why they sold it so hard. Hahaha.

My nephew wants to become an engineer. Smartest in his class, my hope is he will understand that it’s up to him to make his life something, not the destiny set by one or multiple companies.
Like you, I went to school because I had a passion for details, more over to not be limited by any constraint. Most of my family are creatives, came from grandma.
But I found out early after college, towards the beginning of my career that I was not going to let someone decide my fate, that’s when the money came. I remember what my pops taught me when I was a kid. If you want to experience it, then own life and live it...hence built2ride as my handle.

We need to schedule a meet-n-greet. @Built2Ride needs to bring all his family and friends so all his toys can be there for us to see.

I tell you what, I will beat you to it. My friends have just the place and I was about to introduce you all to them.
The name of the shop is ACC Garage, these guys build out some sick rigs (they only service Toyota/Lexus) and are my wheelin’ buddies.
    http://accgarage.com/
    Check them out.
I mentioned to them today, that there was a group that they need to serve. Fabrication, service, eat n’ greets...
I am down to meet some new people who are passionate about living it up.

ps I am working on getting that fj80-Ute.
I hope I can get the chance to wheel and camp in that thing.
