I've seen that truck around town, I don't know the owner though. That picture was taken right around corner from where I live and I believe he's down the street from me.

I'd like to do another low profile get together in November maybe, to meet some of the people who can't make it this coming weekend.

Let's kick around some ideas.

We could set up a day trip to the pipeline..

We could do a TWAT run, if someone is familiar with the route..

We could do a New Glarus cruise similar to what BookieBob put together in August.

Any ideas?

 

It's pretty much confirmed that it will be cold as hell and possibly rainy this coming weekend. Anyone who plans on camping should pack accordingly.

I'm probably heading up early Friday morning. I'll head to the campsite first and confirm whether it's available. I'll set up camp, or if it's occupied, I'll find somewhere else to go.

Once I'm settled in, I'll head somewhere with decent reception and post something here to inform everyone that the campsite is set.

Anyone who is coming up is welcome to pm me before then and maybe exchange numbers. Phone reception is probably sketchy at the campsite, but text messages might come through. It will definitely be more reliable than trying to communicate through Tacomaworld.

I'll probably go do some exploring after getting set up, so if anyone is coming up Friday, let me know your ETA so I can meet you.

Just posted this in the “What beer are you drinking thread”. Figured you guys would get a kick out of it too

 

Been to the “.CHIP” many times. We hit a few local taverns after leaving the Lenie tour. Several bottles later and a burger we made the trek back after a a weekend trip to see Cubs vs Twins at the Metrodome. The Lenie store has reasonable prices.

 

Up north of Rhinelander, Wisconsin and fall is here!
44* temperature and raining.

Colors are popping and the roads are smooth!

Cabins are getting closed up for the season!
