The horse rode the elevator today.

Eager to hear how they work in winter....seriously considering getting them as a replacement for my snow tires. I'm curious how they work under hard braking in wet / slushy conditions (where the KO2s are terribly in my experience).

Man, seeing all the interest in the Fluid Film I should just suck it up and start doing trucks for people, I just can't deal the smell when I do my own.

I got the FF kit this year.
So far, I've done 6 vehicles for my family.
Seems like the more you do..the less it smells.
Can't really smell it anymore. o_O

That's not necessarily a good thing. Going nose blind is no joke.

How crazy do people go with coverage? I use almost a half a can to three quarters of a can on my truck each year along with 2-3 spray cans.

I was averaging about a quart and a half per truck this last time. I tend to put it on pretty generously though, and hit all the suspension components while I'm doing it.

I’ll second that. The coverage was really good including the suspension. Can’t go wrong with @BadDNA. Eammon does an awesome job.

@Skierrichy dude, you don't even want to know how much haunted crap we accidentally drove by on our trip in VT.

Was looking into doing a ghost town trip and jebus. People love to disappear in VT. Or just show up after disappearing not in tact.

Just look up Bennington triangle, devil's den , Retreat tower... It just goes on and on haha.

We drove right by the devil's den trail on the second forest road. Right about where we saw the steep rocks on the passenger side.

Oh hell yeah! There could be some interest in this...new thread? I'd do a thread if I had time but I'm crunched next 2 weekends, I'm even taking 1/2 day this Friday.
3rd weekend is AOAA then I'll be back to more normal routines.

I feel like their needs to be a TW calendar on here for both personal and thread use.

I'll look at maps, like always. I hear ya. Just never enough time to do it all. The Mrs and I have to sneak a just us trip to go leaf peeping as well.

Sweet, Monday the 22nd I took off to unwind and unpack from AOAA so if there is anything you need me to do or figure out, it's a perfect time to do so.

Going to poke my head into the Vermonters thread.

FWIW sufficiently spooked by all this reading.

Well the Rausch trip was the last run for my old 4runner. Broke the link mount off the axle again, broke a shock, and with the rot and other issues it was to far gone to fix. Ended up getting its replacement yesterday. 99 Limited, came up from Florida 6-7 years ago. About as clean as you can find in New England. Needs a little work and has high miles but got it for a good deal. Now time to start swapping parts over.
