Man what a bummer hope he’s ok.

 

It's getting pretty bad here. No end in sight

My step mom convinced him to go. She must have sensed I was thinking about him because she just texted.

He's got a concussion, whiplash and back strain. Tough old fart, but been run hard.

Said his truck was pushed 30ft. Said it wrapped the trailer gate around the car

Dang! Glad he went in to get looked at

 

Same here. He just had a screw come out of his newly repaired shoulder and lodge itself in the socket.

Lived and worked with that for nearly a week before he went in for that.

Gives you a little idea of his pain tolerance.

 

Man got y’all in prayers tonight glad he went to get checked out.

 

Tough ass ole man, take care of him

 

Thanks! Pops is tough, probably go visit him this week.

 

Will do will do. Hes retiring in December so just want him to hang on and fish his ass off.

I'm glad to hear he is seeking some medical attention before things could of escalated. I hope he gets to feeling better soon and gets out to C&C sometime to meet everyone. I feel like we are a pretty welcoming bunch to all so I know he would have a good time and probably shake his head a little at some of the things we do/have done to these trucks.

And, FYI, In 1985, we left Charlie Sector in Austin (South Riverside) for Lockhart. if you were watching Miami Vice, you had to mute it to see if the sirens were TV or local. I went to the HEB in Lockhart on my way back from work in San Marcos to pick up a paper for houses for sale. Had to fight with the lady to buy it, because it was a week old, and new one tomorrow. Told her it didn't matter. Know what the Page ONE headline was?

We got BBQ, and still resist growth, but at least are making some new decent stuff available. Seriously.
