Hmm not bad. I'm going to be redoing the rear end soon and planned on ordering through Down south, thanks!

Depends what you're getting and when. I think my MT coilovers were 2-3 weeks, but my current rear bypasses were 13 weeks because I ordered during race season

True. Just wanted to get a rough idea before I pull the trigger. I'll go ahead and get a hold of them and see what they say.

Oh yeah! I'm in it right now! Lol

    IMG_20181001_175911.jpg

So I haven't had too much time with carbs, very little back in highschool.. so forgive my skill level and verbage.. but.. it seems like the throttle is sticking.. and I can physically manipulate the throttle cable to repoduce it. I feel like it's more specifically.. the float? It has travel still when I release the pedal.. and it stays open slightly.. I have to blip the throttle to get it to close. I pretty much had cruise control on all the way home. No throttle input and it cruised the speed limit...

This will get stuck down partially still after i release the accelerator.

It's a fun drive but that last 9 miles kinda sucks, too bumpy to go fast not bumpy enough to feel like driving super slow. There's a really cool 10 mile loop hiking trail out of seven springs that is even better when fall colors hit the creek. I want to try coming in off I17 next time

The butterfly valve gets stuck? Many times a carb needs to be disassembled, cleaned, and rebuilt with new gaskets etc etc. The smallest amount of carbon can cause it to not funcation properly. Springs get weak and throttle cables get sticky.

    Ok Mr supercar ;)

We went in that way. Good scenery.

appreciate it! I dont know if its the butterlfy valve though, it moves freely, but the vertical shift, (giggity) seems to be sticking. Is this a typical "rebuild" sign would you say?

It’s not that bad, 20 psi and big shocks help. Ran bloody basin to carefree on the way back from expo in about 90 minutes with beer stops and a Jeep following. Did the carefree-sheeps bridge route in about the same iirc in the 4Runner

Aired down it's not that bad. The last 10 sucked.

Not sure what you mean by vertical shift.

All the carbs I have worked with had a side loading throttle mechanism.

If that shaft is suppose to move up and down to control the butter flys it sure shouldn't be sticking. If it's sticking there is some type of build up inside or ONE grain of sand in there :)
    Could also be bent.
