As I recall it’s not that expensive of a sensor? And can be done from the pass side?

Yeah it was a little awkward but I did it at work and just cranked the tire hard right and got access through the wheel well. Took ten min tops.

If it misfires on stock, don't blame the tune. Go get your truck fixed.

Not trying to sound harsh, but your previous posts made it sound like the tune was causing you issues.

The misfiring was many many times worse under the 87 tune. The tune for sure brought whatever the issue is to the surface.

Some of what I'm hearing has me concerned as I am debating between getting rid of this truck because I dislike the way it drives and getting something else or going with the tune to fix it.

The tune works wonders. If 1.05 is just a 10% improvement over 1.04 it will be amazing. I expect it to be a greater improvement than just 10%.

I was gonna trade it in at a huge loss for a diesel Colorado zr2, but I got OVtune instead and it made a humongous difference

I'm not upside down so it wouldn't be the end of the world if I got rid of it... I'm scared to spend 770 bucks and still hate it

I’m not happy even with the tune. The tune does wonders, but it still has a way to go. I’m holding out for 1.05. It’s not the engine for sure. It’s the stupid ecu software that Toyota put in the thing.

However the only thing I would get over this truck would be a Tundra. Trust me, after hauling cars for over 15 years you couldn’t give me a mid size Chevy pickup. I don’t care what’s under the hood.

If you want a lot more power this tune won't help that. If your wanting more power your going to have to switch to another truck like the tundra or F150 or wait until there is a turbo kit or supercharger but you'll be spending upwards of 6k.

IMO this truck has plenty of power. Plenty...it’s just that the software does a terribly poor job getting it to the rear wheels in a manner that is both predictable and enjoyable. Or even useful sometimes.

No need for more power. I want something that is decent to drive... I can never predict what it's going to drive like.. Some days it drives awesome and other days it drives me crazy

Your right, mostly its Toyota putting a engine that creates power in the higher rpms but decides to tune it to shift at 1500 rpm where there is no power.
