i'm going to attempt to do it. i want to integrate some other sensors into mine. we'll see how it goes. i need to find a second engine harness though. i dont want to fuck up my only one lol theres none left in the world new

 

I love how you automatically default to buying everything new instead of finding a used one.

 

habbit, discount... and the money that pays for all this is made on the side.. soooo its just cash i have sitting around lol but no harness is possible.

 

Rebuild your harness to what extent?

 

I will be buying new connectors though... they dont cost too much for me.

 

loom with fiberglass loom and heat shrink everything.. i fear mice.

 

never had rodent damage in a vehicle before

 

i had to replace my avalons engine harness because of a mouse.. the car sat for 4 days. 4 days the fucker chewed through the sheilded wires for the crank sensor and up by the ecu.. harness was fucked

 

the way i want to redo the harness should look alot cleaner and keep the wires pretty damn safe.. but it wont be cheap.... damn me an my perfectionism

 

Tucking harnesses is pretty common, I like to hide them on show vehicles. But on the 5VZ they're already pretty out of the way

 

it wont be a tuck. i just hate the plastic corrugated stuff and the plastic in the valley of the engine is pretty much disintegrated on mine

 

Pretty much all of that convoluted tubing broke off on my Z when I disturbed the wiring harnesses. I'm just gonna get the high heat loom and go over it with 3M stretch wire tape. I'm not making a show car, just want it safe

 

im just doing the high temp fiberglass loom and using the heat shrink tees i have to transition the legs.. it'll look pretty good, plenty of protection and i can use a better mounting for the valley of the engine.. will make valve cover gasket replacement easier if i need to ever do that again

what would you want a 5.7 from a tundra? or a hemi?
