Guess I'm to much backwoods hick for y'all. Running over tailgates to straighten them out and look at LS V8 for engine swap.

Aint as simple as throwing a Holley 4 barrel on uncle grandads ol elcamino motor and making sum ponies anymore. Even the LS engines have a lot going on in the computer despite their simple design, might as well goose a tinier engine for all shes worth, more fun too

Watch how fast that boost shoots up to 20psi (well beyond what that SC could ever hope to do on its own).... the SC looses efficiency around 9-11psi but the turbo just says hey buddy thanks for the help spooling up I'll take it from here and drives that bitch to almost 25 psi in an instant

That engine is forged haha, 5VZ shouldnt be allowed to go over 300 without a forged crank and rods. Piston ring gaps should be opened up, oil cooler should be installed. Nicer MLS headgaskets should be added. This guys is running a Haltech Elite 750 computer instead of the stock Toyota BS, this engine is a monster, I'd be surprised if it was producing less than 550hp on a bad day. Make no mistake his engine is built, yours would be scattered all over the road if you just bolted that system on haha. He even says he is getting boost creep because the two pumps just egg eachother on. Turbo is only set to make 10psi with the spring it has and the SC has an 8 psi pulley. They're not just adding together, they're compounding.

Yeah, Im not looking for 500+ hp engine lol. A daily 300-350hp would be plenty. I mean it's a truck not a Camaro lol

I'm only looking to push 450 in the Z, I want a fun GT car that I can take to the drags every once in a while. But I know I'll get cockier the more boost I push until 5 or 600 becomes the goal. The smart man over builds the motor to suit the future.
