Okay...tough few days. I have been happily married for 20 (well would have been 20 years sat) to my wife Jenny. I come in tues and I couldnt find her. She wasnt home althouh her car was. I tried calling, no answer. I figure shes with one of her girlfriends. 10 o'clock comes. still nothing. I get ready for bed worrying myself to death. Surely nothing was wrong right? Taped to my mirror was a letter. It read

    Hank,

I am so sorry, but I must leave. This everyday life is killing me. I need something exotic to spice up my otherwise dull existence. I hope you can forgive me in time, but this is my decision and there is nothing that you can do to change it. Time will heal this I'm sure.

    Jenny

I don't know what to do. She was the love of my life. I have sacrificed so much to make this work. I thought by no means were we dull and boring. I would randomly take her on trips. I tried everything to keep it spontaneous. What do I do? :(

i cant believe how greedy and selfish people are. you're sacrificing this that, making it work, and she just gives up? greedy and selfish.....
I hope you get through this man, this sucks. maybe she will come back, and if she does, you should think twice about what she did to you, and the fact that she did it once, and can do it again. good luck man and hold that chin up. its gonna be a tough few days, weeks, but you will get through.

    Snap... That's bogus dude...

In light of her uncompassionate way of ending a seemingly good relationship, this saying comes to mind...

"If you love something, set it free.
If it comes back to you, it's yours.
If it doesn't it never was..."

    * WHOA..! 2 kids..! You never mentioned that the 1st time around... Thats very selfish of her...

    :(

I would suggest talking to a counseler. Then, seeing what they say. Kids being involved makes this 100x's worse, and more difficult to deal with. Cant explain why someone would do this. BUT, It happened....Now, You need to focus on the kids, and yourself. Talk to someone ASAP. Do let your mind wander and think too deeply into the "What happened/What If".

This is how people walk away from two kids and a loving partner

Hope you get through this quick man. You don't think you could try calling your family? Either way, blood's thicker than water. Hopefully they would understand
