I see that the PRO wheels don't have an area to put wheel weights from the outside. Does this not allow for the tires to be balanced the best that they can be since weights can only be put on one side?

They didn't have any issues balancing mine, it looks much better without wheel weights on the face on the wheel

Mine have "stick-ons". KO2's are famous for being difficult to balance, but DT gets it right every time.

It's pretty rare anymore to have wheels with weights visible on the outside, isn't it? I can't think of the last wheel I had with that.

They only do it with steel wheels now, I’ve never seen an alloy wheel with clamp on weights. Not that it hasn’t been done though.

I just got a set put on through the dealership where I bought the car and they were balanced using stickies on the inner part of the wheel. I have a feeling a strip may have felt off as one of my rears is feeling a bit out of true above 80km/hr (about 50MPH).

You can put the stick-on weights either towards the outside or towards the inside and achieve the same result as the more traditional clamp-on weights on the outer lip. On my KO2's I ended up with a combination of weights both towards the inside and outside

This is my first truck to have stickons. My 2013 RD Sport had regular old style wheels. My ZL1 has the stickons. This PRO seems to at 90 mph, in Mexico, one in the back has a little shakey shakey.

Ideally for the best dynamic balance, you put weights on the outside, but wheel weights are ugly and leave marks so you see them less and less. Depending on the offset of the wheel, you can sometimes put weights on the inside of the rim. Balancers are calibrated for this set up and can get a pretty close dynamic balance. If you have negative offset or slightly positive wheels, it is impossible and you get a static balance, which in most cases is more than adequate to balance your wheels.

I've seen oem BMW mesh style wheels with a lip have the visible wheel weights. That looked terrible.
